Tax-included standard air normally references 5-12 days, DHL express standard goods 5-7 days, and standard or sensitive sea freight 30-35 days. Oversized sea freight can vary further by coast and truck-delivery arrangement.
Clothing, daily goods, books, and household goods are often easier to arrange. Food, medicine, cosmetics, liquids, battery-powered goods, brands, standalone batteries, and oversized cargo need a service-specific check.
Some can be reviewed, but none is automatically accepted. Ingredients, packing, quantity, value, shelf life, and destination determine whether a sensitive-goods service is possible.
They normally need a dedicated battery service rather than an ordinary standard or sensitive-goods service. Battery data, packing, per-piece weight, tax basis, and surcharges must be confirmed.
Consider service, actual and dimensional weight, weight increments or bands, minimum chargeable weight, tax treatment, destination ZIP code, and oversize, remote, or handling charges. A per-kilogram headline alone is not a quote.
Many services use length x width x height / 6000. DHL commonly uses /5000. The completed outer carton is assessed and the greater of actual and dimensional weight is normally chargeable.
Many services do not support FPO, APO, DPO, or PO Boxes. Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, some islands, and ZIP ranges beginning with 00, 995-999, or 967-969 also need individual confirmation.
Last-mile services limit piece weight, longest side, second side, girth, and irregular packing. Exceeding a threshold can create a surcharge, require truck delivery, or make a standard service unsuitable.
Address correction, refusal, redelivery, return, storage, disposal, and truck waiting can create charges. Confirm name, phone, unit, street, ZIP code, and receiving conditions before dispatch.
