A broad label such as “sensitive goods” is not enough for route selection. Product composition, capacity, battery type, quantity, brand, packing, declared value, and delivery address all matter.
Classify sensitive goods before asking for a route
Medicine and supplements
Provide product name, ingredients, intended use, quantity, packaging, label photos, and value before warehouse intake.
Cosmetics and liquids
Provide capacity per item, total quantity, brand, product form, ingredient or label photo, and leak-protection details.
Battery-powered and standalone batteries
Identify whether the battery is built in or shipped separately, with model, type, capacity or power, quantity, and protective packing.
Do not send these cases to the warehouse without a route decision
Only a broad category is supplied, without ingredients, capacity, battery data, product labels, or clear photos.
Standalone batteries are mixed into an ordinary sensitive-goods or standard-goods carton.
Liquids, powders, or fragile goods have unclear outer packing, no leak protection, or no retail label.
Food contains meat, egg, dairy, fresh ingredients, or has a short shelf life or unclear component list.
The shipment includes first-tier brands, a high declared value, or quantities that need further declaration and route review.
The US address is a PO Box, remote area, school, commercial site, or location with access rules that have not been checked.
What to send for a sensitive-goods review
- Product name, category, quantity, declared value, brand, model, and product photos
- Ingredients, retail labels, capacity, total liquid quantity, shelf-life or food composition where relevant
- Battery type, whether built in or standalone, capacity or power, quantity, and protective packing where relevant
- Final or estimated carton weight, dimensions, carton count, and any leakproof, cushioning, crate, or special packing details
- Full US street address, ZIP code, recipient contact, and delivery deadline

Can food and cosmetics ship with clothing?
Do not assume they can. The full item list, packing ratio, category restrictions, and route conditions determine whether splitting is needed.
Can a battery-powered product use a standard-goods route?
Only after confirming the battery type, product form, quantity, and selected route. Built-in and standalone batteries are not the same category.
